If you need to get away from it all, then a Noosa holiday is just the thing you need to recharge your batteries. Noosa in Queensland is just a short drive from Brisbane and can be reached by air through Marcoola, which has a domestic airport. Noosa is where the rich and influential people of the Southern states of Australia head to when the winter weather gets chilly.

People come here to spend time relaxing and enjoying the sunshine while they sit sipping coffee at any one of the chic cafés or restaurants, which can be found on the entire stretch of beachfronts. The park has numerous unspoiled beaches and is a great favorite of surfers who head to the famous surf point that is created by a large swell that comes from the east. The estuary of the Noosa River is an ideal location for activities like boating, water skiing. Fishing and sailing.

You can rent a car and head towards the hinterland from Noosa where you can explore places like the Enumundi markets, and the Australian zoo. Those interested in taking cruises will find Noosa an especially attractive destination. Most of the cruises take you across lakes and through the Everglades, known for its tranquil and unspoiled waterways. The River of Mirrors is how many know it. The boats have wide windows for excellent sight seeing. Those who are lucky can get glimpses of shoals of fishes like the tuna, Snapper, red Emperor, Coral Trout, Mahi-mahi and even the shark.
